Season 5 of Stranger Things is still underway, and with the anticipation around the remaining episodes rising, we wanted to mark the moment by sharing our unique graphic and a free patch for the Behringer Poly-D, designed to capture the pulsing, atmospheric character of the show’s iconic main theme.

The Behringer Poly-D is often associated with classic analog basses and leads, but its architecture also lends itself remarkably well to darker, evolving synth textures. To showcase its potential, we prepared a Stranger Things–inspired patch that recreates the signature tension and movement of the series’ soundtrack. The patch sheet and accompanying graphics provide a clear overview of oscillator settings, modulation paths, and the recommended effects chain, making it easy to dial in the sound on any Poly-D unit.

The foundation of this patch is a stacked oscillator setup with subtle detuning. The Poly-D’s sequencer contributes the familiar rhythmic feel, while the external chain—compressor into reverb into delay—adds width and motion.
