IK Multimedia has released the new TONEX Modeler, a major update that comes free for everyone who owns any paid version of TONEX, including TONEX SE. The update is available now through the IK Product Manager as version 1.10.0.

What is TONEX Modeler?

The TONEX Modeler is a brand-new standalone tool designed to improve the way musicians capture, create, and play Tone Models. It works directly with TONEX software, ToneNET, and TONEX hardware, and brings faster performance, more accurate sound, and a smarter workflow.

With this update, guitarists and producers get a range of useful improvements:

Much faster training – up to 87% quicker on modern GPUs and Apple Silicon, with some captures finishing in just 2 minutes.
Improved accuracy – tighter lows, clearer harmonics and tones that sit in the mix right away, especially with high-gain amps.
Batch processing – capture several rigs in one go and train them later, even on a different computer.
Time-Saving Workflow: TONEX Modeler automatically stops training once the ideal results are achieved

Why It Matters

The updated capture engine makes sure every Tone Model comes out phase-perfect and with ultra-low latency, so stereo rigs and bass DI blends stay locked in without any extra adjustments. It also shines when it comes to high-gain sounds, delivering a tighter low end, richer harmonic detail, and clear, defined tones that are ready to drop straight into a mix.

Tone Partners and New Models

To showcase what the TONEX Modeler can do, IK worked with their Tone Partners—experienced players and engineers who tested the system early on. Thanks to this collaboration, 56 new Tone Partner collections and bundles are now available on ToneNET, offering over 1,140 new premium Tone Models to explore.
