Every year, the Plugin Boutique Awards put a spotlight on the tools that actually moved the needle — not just the ones with the biggest marketing budget, but the ones that producers voted for, used, and kept coming back to. The 2025 edition, now in its fourth year, is no different. Fifteen categories, thousands of votes, and a field more competitive than ever.

Before we get into the category winners, Plugin Boutique did something new this year: they awarded the first-ever Lifetime Achievement prize. It went to u-he Diva, and honestly, it's hard to argue with that call. Since its debut in 2012, Diva has been the go-to analogue synth emulation for producers who need real warmth without real hardware. Its circuit modelling is meticulous, its "Divine" mode remains one of the most convincing vintage synth sounds in software, and the CPU complaints that used to follow it around have largely faded away.
