Behringer has teased a possible range of 200–300 all-metal guitar pedals with a target price of $10–$15 each. The proposal covers analog and digital effects, including old favorites, new designs and some open-source models. These Behringer $10 pedals have not been formally launched, so there are no confirmed models, specifications or release dates yet.

What is confirmed about the Behringer $10 pedals?

Behringer has confirmed only the broad idea through an official social-media teaser. The company floated 200–300 all-metal pedals, covering both analog and digital effects at a target price of $10–$15 each. It said the range could include pedals based on older effects, original designs and open-source models that players could modify. The wording does not confirm that every pedal will be open source.

The large teaser image shows names including BRAT, TIME BRIDGE, SPACE TEMPLE, WHETSTONE, SLOW MOTION and NOISE. Guitar World described these as distortion, delay, reverb, phaser and other effect concepts, but Behringer has not published an official model list. The picture also appears to cover the drive types explained in our overdrive, distortion and fuzz comparison. For now, every name in the image should be treated as a pictured concept rather than a finished product.

The important details are still missing

Behringer has not announced a release date, preorder window or shipping plan. There are no individual product pages, manuals, specification sheets or confirmed Thomann listings for the proposed range. It is also unclear whether the 200–300 figure means unique circuits, color options or a mixture of both.

The $10–$15 figure is a manufacturer target, not a current shop price. Behringer has not explained how taxes or regional pricing could affect it, and the company has not defined what it means by open source. The range could put pressure on the budget pedal market if Behringer delivers metal cases and usable hardware at that price, but sound, switches, jacks and quality control remain unknown.

The existing Zentara pedals are separate products

The current Behringer ZENTARA OVERDRIVE appears in the wider conversation, but it does not confirm the price or specifications of the teased pedals. It is an existing transparent boost and overdrive with germanium soft clipping, buffered bypass and a gain control that blends clean and clipped signals. At the time of writing, Thomann lists the full-size model at a promotional €64, placing it in a different price group.

The compact Behringer Zentara Overdrive-SR is listed at €69, although Thomann says availability may take several months. Neither listing proves that a Zentara model will join the proposed $10–$15 range. Behringer’s Introducing Behringer ZENTARA and ZENTARA MINI video shows the documented Zentara family and helps separate those pedals from the unconfirmed concepts in the new teaser.

Price and availability

The proposed Behringer pedal family has a target price of $10–$15 per pedal, but none of the pictured concepts can currently be ordered from Thomann. Behringer has not confirmed when the range will launch or whether all 200–300 models will reach production. Current products such as the Zentara remain separate buying options until proper listings appear.

More details should follow through Behringer’s official guitar and bass product catalog.

The proposed $10–$15 pedals are not available yet. Thomann currently lists the documented full-size ZENTARA OVERDRIVE if you want an existing Behringer drive.
